Founded in Cape Town in 2006 as a sister company to Unique Metal Works, Ornamental Steel Warehouse Cape (OSW Cape) has since evolved into a standalone entity following a change in ownership.

Originally, OSW Cape focused on selling imported components alongside manufacturing our own for steel security and decorative products. As market demands shifted, we moved away from imports and expanded our focus to the fabrication of a wide range of steel products, including burglar bars, security and driveway gates, cages, fences, balustrades, decorative items, furniture, restaurant constructions, laser-cut panels, and more.

Our experience in managing projects for restaurants and similar industries naturally led us to design and produce signage, business branding, and other graphic design solutions. With this evolution in our services and offerings, we updated our logo to reflect the broader scope of our expertise beyond steelwork.
